Job summary

Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Emergency Department to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care across the patient continuum. Requires completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in Wisconsin, and BLS with ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers (American Heart Association).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in the ED using nursing process and established standards.
• Lead efforts to ensure a safe patient environment and high-quality experience through evidence-based practice and clear communication.
