Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the 3rd Floor Surgical Unit.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care and to meet essential patient needs across medical-surgical services. The role involves fast-paced teamwork, adherence to nursing standards, and opportunities for growth in trauma, cardiology, and other specialties.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma; endorsement accepted.
• RN license in state of employment.
• Physical requirements: Medium work exert up to 50 lbs, lift up to 20 lbs frequently, up to 10 lbs constantly.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and intervene to ensure optimal outcome.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes with interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications, IVs, wound care, catheterization, specimen collection; document status and interventions.
• Maintain confidential patient records and use IT to communicate and support decision-making.
• Promote patient safety and rights; provide patient/family education and assess learning needs.

Education
