Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.

• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 30 days and maintain.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of one year ER staff nurse RN experience; ED setting preferred.
• CEN preferred; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry and Emergency Department.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activity of other nursing staff.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Respond quickly to changes, ensuring EMTALA compliance and privacy.
