Job summary

Bon Secours Hospital in South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room (ER) at St. Francis Eastside. The role focuses on assessing patient status, prioritizing care, and implementing nursing interventions in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have an Accredited nursing degree (ADN/BSN), an active RN license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred with training within 6 months of hire. Collaboration with an interprofessional team is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current RN license in the state.
• ACLS/PALS preferred; must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced, high-intensity ER setting.
• Evaluate and update care plans to meet outcomes.
• Administer medications safely according to policies and procedures.
• Serve as primary point of contact for care coordination across departments.
