Job summary

Kirby Medical Center is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on the 3rd shift. The rural 8-bed Critical Access ED offers focused, individualized care with 24-hour security. If you’re passionate about critical care, this could be the right fit for you.

Position is PRN with hours varying, weekend/holiday requirements as needed, and an hourly rate of $30.82–$46.24 plus a shift differential up to $6 per hour and bonus incentives.

Qualifications

• Current state of Illinois Registered Nurse Licensure in good standing.
• Basic computer knowledge is sufficient.

Responsibilities

• Able to work well under high stress, high acuity and make quick decisions as part of a team to save lives
• Rapidly triage patients, prioritize care, and deliver immediate interventions
• Safely administer medications and efficiently stabilize patients for ongoing treatment
• Provide hands on patient care to patients of all ages
• Work closely and communicate well with Emergency Department provider
• Maintain accurate and continued documentation including patient histories, conditions, treatments and responses and assessment of changes
• Track patient vitals, adjust treatment plans based on response
• Participate as a member of the Campus Response Team
