Job summary

Lifepoint Health® in Ottumwa seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in a small Emergency Room unit. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team and care for acutely ill patients using clinical judgment and effective nursing processes.

Applicants must hold a valid Iowa RN License and be willing to complete required certifications within six months. Benefits include health coverage and a commitment bonus of $15,000.

Qualifications

• Must have current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in Iowa or from a Compact State.
• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications within six months of hire.
• Recent RN experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for acutely ill patients.
• Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking for patient care.
• Perform assigned procedures within the scope of practice.
