Job summary

Altus Community Healthcare seeks a Radiology Technologist to operate radiographic and CT equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety. The role follows Radiologist protocols and ER physician directions within ALARA principles.

The candidate will administer IV/oral contrast when needed, perform patient positioning, and document exams accurately. ARRT certification and Texas licensure are expected, with a focus on safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• At least 1 year radiologic/imaging experience and CT experience.
• Licensed/registered as required by state and ARRT certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs as directed.
• Perform CT scans and administer contrast as directed by physicians.
• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection using ALARA principles.
• Prepare patients and equipment, position patients, and document procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation and charts for each exam.
