Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a PRN LPN to support the Emergency Dept with rotating shifts. LPNs work under supervision of RNs and other clinicians, delivering compassionate patient care and following established care protocols.

The role requires graduation from an accredited LPN program, an active LPN license (SC or compact state), and at least 1 year of LPN experience with BLS certification. This is a PRN position with a rotating schedule and variable hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program and one year of LPN experience.
• Licensed as an LPN in South Carolina or a compact state; one year of LPN experience preferred; BLS from AHA required.

Responsibilities

• LPNs work under the supervision of registered nurses and other medical professionals, delivering patient care with empathy and clear communication.
• Carry out patient care protocols and document care per unit standards.
