Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks a licensed pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team in Colorado. You will participate in clinical and distributive services, ensure safe, effective, and cost-conscious therapies, and support regulatory compliance and education within the department.

Qualifications

Pharmacist licensure required and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
Maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency preceptorship encouraged.
Board-certification in related practice area encouraged.

Responsibilities

Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
