Norman Regional Health System in Colorado seeks a pharmacist to participate in clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring optimal pharmaceutical care for all patients daily. The role supports development, implementation, and maintenance of programs that promote desirable outcomes through safe, cost-effective drug therapies for all ages.

The position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

Education: BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited college.
ASHP PGY1 residency preferred but not required.
Preferred hospital pharmacy experience.
Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
Preceptor license required through OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency preceptorship required upon hire.
Board-certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
Participate in departmental clinical programs as assigned.
Process orders and dispense medications according to policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Administer the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
Contribute to educational goals of the department.
Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
