Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to join the clinical and distributive pharmacy teams. The role focuses on delivering safe, cost-effective drug therapies for patients of all ages and participating in departmental clinical programs.

Responsibilities include processing orders, dispensing medications per established procedures, and supporting educational goals within the department. A hospital setting background is preferred, with licensure in good standing required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies and regulations.
• Support educational goals of the department and contribute to clinical programs.
• Enhance accuracy and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and outcomes.
