Job summary
Norman Regional Health System is seeking a clinical pharmacist to participate in hospital clinical services and support distributive pharmacy activities. The role focuses on safe, cost-effective therapies and development of pharmacy programs to promote desirable patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include processing orders, dispensing medications per policies, and contributing to education and program development within a dynamic clinical environment. Sign-on and relocation support are available.
Qualifications
- Pharmacy degree from an accredited college.
- ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred.
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
- Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
- Process orders and dispense medications according to policies and regulations.
- Administers ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
- Contribute to educational goals of the department.
- Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
