Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist for the Night shift to participate in clinical pharmacy services, support distributive pharmacy operations, and ensure safe, cost-effective medication therapies for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities include processing orders, dispensing per policies, contributing to educational goals, and improving pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and outcomes. A $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available.

Qualifications

Job Summary

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.

Experience:

• Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.

Licensure/Certification

• Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
• Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area.

Compensation/Benefits

Up to $81.87/hr. based on previous work experience.

• Weekday Evening differential $3.00/hr. Weekday Night differential $3.50/hr.
• Weekend Day differential $3.50/hr (stacks on evening OR night differential)
• Weekend Evening differential $6.50
• Weekend Night differential $7.00
