Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks a licensed pharmacist to join our clinical and distributive pharmacy teams. You will ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective therapies, process orders, and support department programs that promote optimal patient outcomes.

The role offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus with relocation assistance, competitive hourly compensation up to $81.87/hr, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, retirement plans, and advancement

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Experience: Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
• Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area.

Responsibilities

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
