Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to participate in clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring safe, cost-effective therapies for diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Experience: Preferred completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Licensure/Certification: Licensed pharmacist in good standing with OK Board of Pharmacy.
• Maintain preceptor license through OK Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• Achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
• Board certification in related practice area encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements; report to external agencies.

• Enhance performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and outcomes.
