Job summary
Norman Regional Health System is hiring a pharmacist to participate in clinical and distributive pharmacy services and ensure optimal pharmaceutical care for patients daily. The role supports safe, cost-effective therapies and adherence to regulatory requirements across age groups.
Qualified candidates will hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, be licensed in good standing, and ideally have ASHP PGY1 residency or equivalent hospital pharmacy experience. Relocation and sign-on bonus available.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited college.
- ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred but not required.
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
- Process orders and dispense medications according to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical and distributive programs.
- Contribute to educational goals of the department.
- Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
