Job summary

UF Health's Emergency Department is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the night shift to provide hands-on patient care, comfort and support during critical moments in a fast-paced environment.

Under supervision of the Unit Director and ED RN/LPN staff, you will assist with activities of daily living, help maintain a clean, safe environment, and perform delegated technical procedures to support efficient patient care. This role offers growth within a dedicated emergency team.

Qualifications

• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced ED.
• Follow clinical directions and prioritize patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient care through ADLs and comfort measures.
• Support fast-paced ED operations by assisting nurses and maintaining safety.
