Job summary

Kansas Health System in Olathe is seeking a PRN ER Tech to support the Emergency Care Center. Under RN supervision, you will assist with procedures, monitor and document vitals, and help with patient transport and room turnover.

The role emphasizes readiness, infection control, and strong customer service to ensure smooth patient flow. Prior healthcare experience and CPR/BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• 2+ years healthcare experience.
• CPR/AED/BLS certification required or within 14 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with ECC procedures and patient care.
• Keep treatment rooms clean and stocked; assist with patient transport.
• Monitor vital signs and document changes for the RN.
• Assist with phlebotomy and specimen handling as trained.
• Demonstrate prioritization and professional communication on the unit.
