Job summary

Full-time position: 72 hours per pay period with variable shifts. CPR certification is required, and licensure/registry in EMT, LPN, MA, CNA, or related field may be needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in EMT, HUC, LPN, MA or PCA/CNA or licensure required.
• CPR certification required; if <1 year experience, must have current EMT registry or license, LPN, MA, or CNA certification at time of hire/promotion or be a student in an accredited nursing education program.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update the ED tracking board promptly to communicate with staff.
• Document/maintain patient records as appropriate.
• Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, weights, heights, and intake-output measurements.
• Orders patient care supplies and keeps patient care supplies stocked in rooms, carts and other areas as appropriate.
• Assists in maintaining a safe environment, including checking equipment daily for proper function.
