Job summary

Methodist Health System in the Dallas area is seeking an ER Technician II to assist with direct patient care in the Emergency Department, support families and staff, and help with therapeutic treatments, lab equipment operation, patient discharge and education.

This PRN role requires a high school diploma or GED, Texas EMT-P or National EMT-P certification, BLS, ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire; 1 year of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma is required.
• Active Texas EMT-P or National EMT-P certification required.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required or completed within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic patient care and direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Support patients, families and staff, including therapeutic treatment, lab equipment operation, discharge and education.

Education

Current Basic Life Support Certification

Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
