Job summary

The METHODIST MANSFIELD MEDICAL CENTER seeks an ER Technician II to support direct patient care in the emergency department. The role includes basic patient care duties, assisting with therapeutic treatments, and education for patients and families.

You will operate laboratory equipment, assist physicians, and participate in discharge planning under supervision. Requires EMT-P certification, BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 90 days; GED or HS diploma; 1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Texas EMT-P certification or National EMT-P certification.
• BLS, ACLS required; PALS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and assist with direct patient care.
• Operate laboratory equipment as directed and assist with procedures.
• Support patient discharge and education.
• Assist physicians with therapeutic treatments as ordered by the physician on duty.
