Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Paramedic for the Emergency Room to provide high-quality patient care under the Medical Director and hospital leadership. You will report to the charge nurse for shifts and collaborate with RNs and other staff to ensure safe, efficient care.

The role requires active Paramedic certification, BCLS, ACLS and PALS either on hire or within defined timeframes, plus a minimum of one year of relevant experience. This is an on-site hospital position in a high-volume ER.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Paramedic
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• 1 years experience Required Years of Experience

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care under the direction of the Medical Director and in accordance with Medical City Healthcare philosophy and goals.
• Report to the charge nurse for shift assignments and direction of shift duties.
• Collaborate with RN and other caregivers to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
