Job summary
AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Paramedic to join our night shift crew. You will assist higher-trained personnel, deliver compassionate patient care, and support community response efforts while maintaining safety and infection control standards.
You will communicate with healthcare teams, complete documentation, and ensure the ambulance is ready for rapid deployment in emergencies. A valid paramedic license and BLS/ACLS are required.
Qualifications
- Licensed Paramedic (PARA) is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- NIMS training preferred.
- Emergency vehicle operations knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assists higher-trained personnel in providing effective care.
- Delivers exceptional service to patients and families.
- Maintains infection control and a safe work environment.
- Communicates with healthcare team and emergency responders.
- Ensures ambulance is clean, stocked, and ready for use.
- Completes patient care reports and required documentation.
