Job summary

Piedmont Macon Medical is seeking a Paramedic who will provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care under the supervision of a Professional Registered Nurse and/or Physician. The role includes patient advocacy, teaching, and performance improvement, with oversight of unlicensed personnel as needed.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, planning and implementing care, and ensuring a safe environment while collaborating with the care team to deliver high-quality health services.

Qualifications

• BCLS/BLS Certification required at hire
• ACLS required at hire
• PALS certification required within 6 months or as mandated
• Current Georgia Paramedic license required

Responsibilities

• Facilitates age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care and maintains a safe environment under supervision.
• Educates patients and families and communicates effectively, utilizing technology.
• Participates in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care; oversees unlicensed staff as applicable.
