Job summary

Valley View is seeking a full-time RN to join the Emergency Department team in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This is an evening/night position with rotating weekends at a Level III Trauma Hospital on the Western Slope.

The ED RN will plan and provide nursing care to ED patients in a busy 13-bed department. Requirements include Colorado RN license, current BLS/ACLS/PALS, TNCC certification (or within 6 months), and a minimum of 1 year ED experience; 2+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• Colorado RN license or ability to obtain.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS through the American Heart Association.
• Current TNCC certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year RN Emergency Department experience.
• 2+ years of RN Emergency Room experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The ED RN plans and provides nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.

Education

Colorado RN license

BLS/ACLS/PALS (AHA)

TNCC certification

RN ED experience 1 year

RN ED experience 2+ years preferred
