Job summary

Valley View Hospital is seeking a TEMP full-time RN for our Emergency Department located on the Western Slope of Colorado. This night/evening/rotating weekends role supports a 13-bed ED with trauma bays, delivering bedside nursing care to ED patients.

The position requires Colorado RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and TNCC certification (or within 6 months). One year ED RN experience is required; 2+ years ED experience preferred. Shift differentials apply for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS through the American Heart Association.
• Current TNCC certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year RN Emergency Department experience.
• 2+ years of RN Emergency Room experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Support evening, night, and rotating weekend shifts.
• Collaborate with ED team on trauma and urgent care cases.
• Assist with ED operations and patient flow as needed.
