Job summary

Freeman Health System seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Neosho Emergency Department on a PRN/Part-time basis. The RN will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires active RN licensure, plus ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications and NIMS/ICS training. Opportunities include extensive perioperative learning and departmental growth within Freeman Health System in Neosho.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in work state or compact state.
• AHA ACLS within 180 days.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
• AHA PALS Provider within 365 days.
• ASLS - Advanced Stroke Life Support within 180 days.
• Stroke CEU Hours - 4 per year annually by transcript due date.
• Trauma CEU Hours - 8 per year annually by transcript due date.

Responsibilities

• Perform systematic and continuous assessment of patients and families and plan and implement interventions.
• Evaluate effectiveness and adjust care plans in a timely manner to provide safe, effective care.
• Collaborate with medical team to execute the plan of care and document patient progress.
