Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required.
• RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and families on managing illness or injury, including post treatment home care needs and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Participates in professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family; communicates the plan across the continuum of care.
• Uses nursing assessment to address physical, psychosocial, emotional needs and considers patient values, culture, and preferences.
• This is a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness and safe performance.
