Cook Children’s in Prosper, TX is seeking a Staff RN for the Emergency Department on the third shift. This part-time position offers 24 hours per week with a 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. schedule, delivering competent, individualized nursing care within a fast-paced pediatric unit.

The RN Staff DU collaborates closely with the care team, applies the nursing process, and communicates clearly to ensure patient safety, exceptional service, and smooth unit workflows.

Qualifications

• Active TX RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Post-hire PALS/NRP and unit certifications per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver competent, individualized nursing care using the nursing process within the Emergency Dept.
• Collaborate with the care team to address unit acuity and safety.
• Maintain strong communication with patients and families to ensure service excellence.
