ER Nurse – Night Shift 13-Week Contract

Job summary

Cynet Health seeks an experienced RN for the Emergency Department in California. This 13-week contract involves night shifts of 12 hours, requiring a valid California RN license and a minimum of two years in emergency care.

The role covers diverse patient populations and fast-paced netcare, with a multidisciplinary team providing support across units, including phlebotomy, radiology, and social services. No new graduates are planned for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience.
• 18+ months in core staff in first nursing job.
• No new graduates or local candidates within 50 miles.
• ACLS, BLS, MAB, NIH, PALS certifications are preferred.
• Must have valid state nursing license.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to diverse patient populations including neonates to geriatrics.
• Manage dysrhythmias, central lines, IV starts and sedation monitoring.
• Triage and treat patients with trauma and stroke protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and units (pharmacy, radiology, social services).
• Adhere to isolation precautions and safety protocols.
