Job summary

Lutheran Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care through the nursing process and coordinate with physicians and the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

You will administer medications, monitor patient status, educate patients and families, and participate in performance improvement activities while adhering to safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN licensure and BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the nursing process and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes to care team.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures and develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families; ensure post-discharge instructions.
• Maintain infection control protocols and patient safety.
• Respond to emergencies including CPR and code team activities.
• Document care thoroughly in the medical record.
• Participate in audits and compliance checks.
• Ensure regular attendance and policy compliance.
