Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka, CA is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Emergency Room to oversee clinical and operational activities on the evening shift. This Full Time role reports to the unit director/manager and supports planning, organizing and evaluating services.

The ANM will provide managerial presence across shifts, lead nursing practice, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-focused, high-quality care in a busy Emergency Department.

Qualifications

• California RN license required.
• BSN/BS degree in nursing required.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical and operational activities on the Emergency Room during the evening shift.
• Support the unit director/manager in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating services.
• Provide managerial presence across all shifts and lead nursing practice in a fast-paced ED.
