Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Taylor invites qualified RNs to join our Emergency Department team. You will oversee patient care, perform assessments, and develop individualized care plans in a fast-paced, critical access setting.

We expect RN licensure, BLS, and a commitment to nursing excellence as part of a dedicated team providing compassionate care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Specialized nursing field preferred
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of start

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans per professional practice model.
• Prioritize patient and family needs and coordinate with care team to ensure safety and quality care.
• Document patient responses and outcomes accurately in EMR systems.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
• Delegate tasks to team members according to patient needs and competencies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues and community to deliver efficient and compassionate care.
