Ochsner Health System in Louisiana seeks an experienced nurse leader to guide patient care within the nursing process and standards. You will delegate, mentor, and collaborate with licensed and ancillary staff to achieve high-quality outcomes.

You will ensure compliance with the Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards, and organizational goals while supporting diverse patient populations and promoting continuous improvement in care delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• CPI certification within 30 days of hire; ACLS and PALS within 90 days; advanced clinical certifications encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients and families.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources on the interdisciplinary team.
• Uses data to evaluate and promote change to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Embraces practices that enhance customer satisfaction and staff morale.
• Adapts care to diverse patient populations while respecting privacy and consent.
• Performs other related duties as required.
