Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting. The role supports collaboration with medical providers and a care team to uphold standards and patient experience.

As an ER RN, you will assess pain, perform procedures, document care, educate patients and families, and ensure timely follow-up instructions. This is a full-time, mixed-shift position offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• TNC must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• RN license active and in good standing.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 6 months.
• PALS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain and promote pain management with reassessment after intervention.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up steps.
• Teach self-management and healthy lifestyle changes to patients and families.
