Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate nurse with current RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS per policy.
• Experience in emergency department or acute care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Assess patients and reassess across the lifespan.
• Administer medications and manage critical infusions.
• Assist physicians with exams and ED procedures.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and interpret rhythms.
• Document care accurately in the EMR and charting tools.
• Adhere to infection control and sterile technique.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge.
• Collaborate with the interprofessional team for optimal care.
• Remain calm and effective in life-threatening situations.
