Job summary

St. Joseph Health – Bryan/College Station, TX is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced ED. You will perform comprehensive assessments, initiate critical interventions, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing, Texas RN license, and BLS; ACLS, PALS, and TNCC within specified timeframes are preferred. Preferred: BSN.

Qualifications

• Associate Of Nursing required.
• At least 1 year of RN experience required.
• TX Registered Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) within 14 days.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and provide nursing care covering physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
• Plan and document plan of care, including discharge planning and coordination with other disciplines.
• Prepare patients for treatments, communicate changes to physicians, and follow safety protocols.
