Job summary

Covingtoncountyhospital in Collins, MS seeks an Emergency Department Nurse to deliver urgent care in the ER. You will triage, stabilize, administer medications, start IVs, and document patient records while coordinating with a fast-paced team.

Must hold current MS State Board of Nursing license with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. This full-time position offers health/dental/vision insurance, a 401(a), PTO/STO, and disability benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have current license with MS State Board of Nursing.
• Must have BLS.
• Must have ACLS.
• Must have PALS.
• Must have TNCC.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming patients based on level of injury or illness.
• Immediately stabilize incoming patients.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Start intravenous lines.
• Provide stitches and sutures.
• Create and maintain incoming patient records.
• Work with team of emergency staff to help patients.
• Help transfer stable patients to other wings.
