Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital in Covington, GA is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to provide care across the patient lifecycle using registered nursing processes. You will contribute to high-quality, coordinated care within our clinical team.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold GA RN licensure (NLC/eNCL), BLS certification, and be prepared for hospital-based PRN or full-time roles. Advanced certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse licensure in Georgia (NLC/eNCL multistate) required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff and maintain standards of practice.
