Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will perform comprehensive assessments, devise and implement individualized care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary care, monitor outcomes, and educate patients and families to promote understanding and adherence.

The role requires 1+ year ED hospital experience, BLS, and ACLS/PALS per unit requirements. A strong team player with English fluency will thrive in our fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional health.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and patient needs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care by facilitating collaboration among healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient progress, review and adjust care plans based on patient responses.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans.
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing and support staff.
• Evaluate discharge planning needs and coordinate discharge requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and established policies and procedures.
