Job summary

Allegheny Health Network at Canonsburg Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and standards. You will utilize the nursing process and coordinate the interdisciplinary plan of care for the patient population.

Responsibilities include comprehensive documentation, ongoing patient and family teaching, and supporting development of students and new staff. CPR certification and PA RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in PA or through eNLC multi-state licensure.
• Current CPR certification (AHA).
• Ability to coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care following policies and standards.
• Utilize nursing process to plan and coordinate patient care.
• Complete patient documentation to support interdisciplinary communication.
• Provide teaching to patients and families across the continuum of care.
• May serve as a preceptor for students or new staff.
