Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Experienced RN for the Adult Emergency Department in Oklahoma City. The RN I–III roles cover novice to expert levels with responsibilities spanning direct patient care, medication administration, patient education, and collaboration with physicians.

Minimal qualifications include an RN license (OK or eNLC) and BLS. OU Health offers sign-on bonuses, loan repayment, and relocation assistance to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Education: RN must hold an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: 0-3 years for RN I; 3-5 years for RN II; 5+ years for RN III.
• Licenses: RN license (Oklahoma or eNLC) and BLS certification on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians in examinations and minor diagnostics.
• Monitors and responds to patient data and vital signs.
• Administers medications as prescribed.

• Educates patients and families about procedures and discharge plans.
