Job summary

The position involves a 36-hour workweek with holiday rotation and requires BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and timely BSN completion where applicable.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN licensure.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• BSN within five years of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC within 18 months (ED <1 year) or 12 months (ED >1 year); every 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and interprofessional team to assess patient needs and plan care.
• Collaborates with the team to provide high-quality outcomes and safe care.
• Demonstrates clinical expertise in the assigned specialty and RN responsibilities.
• Identifies improvements to patient experience and care efficiency while reducing costs.
• Supports mentoring, engagement, and professional development of staff.
• Provides consultation with physicians and interprofessional team to solve problems.
• Anticipates and manages risk, handling emergencies effectively.
