Job summary

Trinity Health Grand Rapids is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Night Shift in our Level 2 Emergency Department. The role involves working within an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The RN will participate in all aspects of the patient visit, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care and collaboration with physicians and support staff. A BSN is preferred, and new grads may apply to the RN residency program.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• If ADN in Grand Rapids, must enroll in BSN within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years.
• Licensed in the State of Michigan.
• BLS Certification American Heart.
• Experience as an RN required. If new grad must apply to RN residency that takes place three times a year in February, July and October.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure evidence-based medicine.
