Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Nashoba Valley, Groton, MA. The role is on-site with 24 hours per week, including night shifts and weekend rotations. Excellent patient care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and adherence to nursing standards are essential.

The position requires MA nursing licensure, BLS, and ACLS as applicable. A BSN is preferred, with a strong focus on quality and safety in a busy emergency setting.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification is required for every RN.
• ACLS certification preferred or current as applicable to unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Perform patient assessment and reassessment.
• Develop and coordinate care plans including discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate nursing care in the assigned setting.
• Administer medications and treatments and operate equipment per policy.
• Participate in quality improvement and nursing governance activities.
• Document patient care per standard procedures and maintain attendance.
