Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Florida is seeking a Night Shift RN for our Emergency Department to provide high-quality patient care from 7p to 7a.

The role requires active Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS; PALS/ENPC within 3 months of hire, and strong knowledge of ER protocols, EKG interpretation, and vasoactive medications. You will triage, monitor, and coordinate care for acutely ill patients with attention to age-specific needs.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS or ENPC within 3 months of hire.
• EMERGENCY Department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform age-specific ER triage and initial assessment.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Interpret EKGs and respond to arrhythmias.
• Manage patients on vasoactive therapy and ventilation as ordered.
• Document care and discharge planning accurately.
• Respond to emergencies with crisis intervention when needed.
• Coordinate transfers and ensure completion of orders.
