Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacist experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active registration with the Mississippi State Board of Pharmacy.
• Completion of 2 hours of stroke education annually.
• Knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations, IV compounding, and medication safety.
• Ability to lift, handle, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Aufgaben

• Perform hospital pharmacy duties, including IV compounding and medication dispensing.
• Ensure safe medication procurement, storage, control, and distribution.
• Work independently in a high‑pressure hospital environment.
• Provide medication‑related consultation and support patient care across pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations.
• Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel.
• Follow USP 797 and USP 800 compliance standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the 340B program and stroke treatment protocols.
• Support emergency and mass disaster response when required.
• Maintain effective communication and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
