Mount Sinai Medical Center in Aventura, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department night shift (7p-7a). You will provide high-quality emergency care and coordinate patient flow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include triage, nursing assessments, administering IV therapies, interpreting EKGs, and planning discharge with the care team, while maintaining EMTALA compliance throughout transfers.

Qualifikationen

• Current Florida nursing license.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS or ENPC within 3 months of hire.

Aufgaben

• Assess patients for age-specific safety needs in the Emergency Department.
• Interpret age-specific responses in trauma and other emergencies.
• Document discharge planning with focus on aftercare needs.
• Interpret and monitor EKGs and arrhythmia management.
• Monitor hemodynamic responses and vasoactive therapy per policy.
• Assist with ventilated patients and pacing needs.
• Provide patient and family education and transfer documentation.
