Job summary

Lee Health in Cape Coral, FL seeks a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join the Emergency Services team at Cape Coral Hospital. You will perform and document selected treatments and medications under the guidance of the registered nurse, and assist with health data collection to support timely, high-quality patient care.

This full-time position requires graduation from an approved LPN program, Florida licensure, BLS certification, and IV course competency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved vocational/practical nursing program.
• LPN with experience; must complete competency assessment.
• Current Florida LPN license; BLS certification; 30-hour IV course required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; basic computer literacy; customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents selected treatments and medications under RN guidance.
• Assists the Registered Nurse in collecting health data as per policy.
• Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care and outcomes.
• Supports the organization’s vision and mission; applies age and cultural considerations in care.
