Job summary

Precision-Healthcare is seeking an ER Holding Nurse in Worcester, MA. This 13-week contract offers 36 hours per week and a pay rate of up to $2,225 gross per week, with benefits available from day one.

The role requires 2+ years telemetry experience and MA RN license; BLS is required, ACLS preferred. Shift options include days and nights with every other weekend/holiday. Orientation includes medication and telemetry exams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years telemetry experience required.
• Massachusetts RN license required.
• ER, observation, or overflow/surge experience preferred.
• Must pass medication and telemetry exams during orientation; one attempt allowed.
• Must be available to start 11/10/2026.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Local and travel candidates accepted.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult and geriatric patients in an ER surge/overflow setting.
• Provide care for telemetry and observation patients.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies.
• Start and maintain IVs and perform phlebotomy.
• Manage dysrhythmias and administer medications.
• Care for patients requiring respiratory support and chest tubes.
• Provide care involving spinal precautions, PCA pumps, and epidurals.
• Float within the ED to care for overflow and surge patients.
• Complete required medication and telemetry testing during orientation.
• Chart using Epic.
